Dear members, I have today received some direction and guidelines from our national body about the unprecedented situation we all find ourselves in. The health and safety of members, visitors, staff and contractors must be the priority. I will be in touch with you all again tomorrow once we have clarified the extent of the measures we wish to put in place but in the interim we ask that; - Members and visitors to the Club stay away if they are experiencing flu like symptoms
- Members and visitors to the Club stay away if they have travelled internationally within the last 14 days
- That players do not remove the pin flags when putting
The Club will be; - Removing bunker rakes (new local rule to be advised)
- Removing pins on the practice green
- Closing drinking fountains
- Closing ball washers (currently removed for restoration anyway)
- Removing shared sun-screen
- Regularly cleaning surfaces in and around our facility
Whilst some of these measures may seem extreme, the health, safety and well-being of members, visitors and the wider community is our priority.
