Good afternoon all,

It has been a very busy day 1 of the “new normal” here with a full tee sheet and many positive comments about the course and its condition following the lockdown. A big thanks to Colin, Chris and Jared for their efforts in presenting the course in such great condition.

By and large the day went smoothly with only a handful of players needing to be reminded of the well-publicised operational guidelines we must adhere to.

Looking at the forward bookings, particularly Saturday it is probably worth clarifying and reinforcing the main criteria;

      1. Play is only possible for those playing alone, or playing with those from within your personal bubble

      2. At Alert level 3 the government has stipulated that you can only expand your bubble a small amount to include close family, isolated people or caregivers.

Expansion is strictly limited and the creation of a “golfing bubble” is simply not an option.

For bookings that we believe are outside of these guidelines we will be asking you to play alone. That means alone for 18 holes – not joining up when out of eyesight.

We will be marshalling the course and the greenkeepers also have a copy of the tee sheets so will be aware of who is playing with whom at all times.

And finally, we have already had comments about players not repairing pitch marks on the greens. With member only play we can’t blame green fee players or corporates so please respect our course and other players by repairing yours and any other pitch marks you may find. Same for divots on the pristine fairways please.
