Dear members,

 

Without wanting to state the obvious, we have been closed Sunday and today and we will also be closed on Tuesday with more rain forecast in the next 24 hours or so. 

 

Wednesday is looking more positive with no rain and a frost forecast but a decision on opening will be made tomorrow afternoon and a further update to members will be sent at that time.

 

Regardless of what day we re-open, carts will not be allowed on course until at least Saturday. 

 

You may have seen the devastation flooding has caused at Hororata and also Greendale GC's. We will be extending an invitation to their members to play Harewood for a nominal fee whilst their courses are ready for play again, which could be many months away unfortunately.

 

On that note, Canterbury Golf are coordinating volunteers to assist these courses, and possibly others, so please follow this link below and register if you are able to help with the massive clean-up task ahead.
