The Prime Minister has announced this afternoon that all of New Zealand will be at Alert Level 4 until at least 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 August and the Auckland region North will likely stay at Alert Level 4 for a longer period.
All areas South of Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 at 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 August 2021.
Our intention is to open for member-only play under L3. Please be aware though that the Government is reviewing the guidelines for sport and recreation under L3 and they have indicated there may be changes from last time. These changes (if any) will not be known until Monday afternoon at the earliest so as soon as we know the guidelines from Golf NZ I will be back in touch and confirm we will open and under what terms.
We are currently amending all the tee sheets based on the previous L3 guidelines so all bookings that were in the system will have been wiped, so apologies to those who got in early. This is mainly due to 10 minutes tee-time spacing to avoid any congregation. Please go back in and re-book the new time slots.
Members are strongly reminded that under existing L3 rules golf is only permitted in bubbles. Please do not put our staff under pressure to question bookings by arranging bookings outside of your bubbles.
