Dear members, Good news from the PM this afternoon with a drop to "Delta Level 2" and a return to near normality for golfers from Wednesday. There are a number of guidelines we need to follow but we've been here before and at least we can return to our regular playing groups and member competitions. The challenge will be managing the 50 person limit in the Clubhouse, particularly on Saturday but we will communicate further on this in the day or so. We will also clarify the new rules around mask wearing - both staff and members/visitors to the Club. So from a golfing perspective a reminder that under L2 you can book and play outside of your bubble, 2m distance to be maintained from other groups on the course, the pins are not to be touched and should remain in the hole (noodles will be in place at the bottom of the flagpole), and bunker rakes, ball washers and drinking fountains will be available. The Clubhouse seating and serving will be arranged in line with the guidelines but again, we will clarify these in the next email. We all look forward to seeing you back on course from Wednesday.
