The Jennian Homes 4BBB (sponsors cup) reached its conclusion with the winners decided in 2 tight matches on Saturday.

Congratulations to the lady’s winners; Annabel Chadwick and Victoria Webb-Smart who defeated Debbie Scott and Anne McKenna on the 18^th after a tense match. The Mens final was also decided on the 18^th, with Steve Thomas and Tony Marriner defeating Alan Double and Les Keys . It was a close run match with Les and Alan (the easy beats) recovering after being 5 holes down to take down the 18^th. Thank you to Jennian Homes who provided the cash prize for the winners and all those who entered the competition.

Last weekend’s Saturday competition played from the yellow tees put some players in some different positions on the course, and with a significantly different handicap than what they normally play on a Saturday. Harewood golf course has 4 different tee blocks, and with the new course rating allows more even competition off all the tees for all handicaps.

The Saturday programme has now caught up after the changes following the COVID shutdown and reverts to what is printed in the programme book. This weekend is a Monthly medal for the men and an LGU for the ladies. The following weekend will not be a multi tee start but a 2 tees start from 10.00am. The men’s club champs qualify rounds begin on the 15 August.
