The Board and I are delighted to announce that Summerset are the Clubs new principal sponsor and partner on an initial three year arrangement.

Summerset are one of NZ"s largest and most respected operators in the retirement village and aged care sector with 23 villages nationally and more in the pipeline. Locally we will develop a close relationship with their Summerset at Wigram and Summerset on Cavendish villages, with a new Village at Avonhead also in development.

More information will follow about the relationship and you will certainly see some changes around the Club and Course with Summerset branding being prominent as a starting point. Needless to say if any members are considering a move to a retirement village or aged care then please contact me in the first instance.

Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the contribution of Board member Phil Rotherham.
