General Manager - Richard Attwood

Clubhouse and Course Development

We have made some good inroads on the course this week, with holes 5, 9, 10, 14 and 15 with trees down. The players this week had had minimal disruption as we have been able to keep all 18 holes open, thanks for the work of the Wood’n’Tree team. Finally, can I please remind all players to keep away from the orange coned off areas as this is a designated work site.

Kitchen upgrades have gone to plan so far thanks to club sponsors, Seddon & Hunt Plumbing and Gas, and Cassidy-Davies Electrical. The first of the new walling is going up today and flooring starting next week.

Due to the weather today, the entrance will be continue on through until next week.

Club Captain Update – Phil Barlow

We were greeted to very little breeze last Saturday and in fact the sun came out every now and then. It was fairly warm, though not as warm as some of the says this week – a bit out of the norm. Some heavy showers will have softened the course up a bit for Saturday. After being away from the course for 5 weekends, it was great to see the greens playing true and with good growth – well done guys. There were also some big divots in the fairways, so please feel free to fill the holes that others have left, they don’t need to be your own ones.

It’s also Masters week this week, so some great golf on TV if you want to watch the best in the world play at Augusta. Here’s hoping Foxy can pull it all together for this major.

This Saturday sees the men’s Harewood 4BBB Rnd 3 with others having Par, while the women have Harewood 4BBB Rnd 2 with others Multiple Stableford. Play well everyone and enjoy your weekend.
