Further to my communication of yesterday and in particular the removal of all bunker rakes on the course.

 

A new local rule in now if force where "a ball lying in a bunker may be placed (not dropped) if the lie is compromised. The ball should be marked before lifting and may be placed within one club length of where it lay, but no closer to the hole".

 

Our greenkeeping staff will be raking the bunkers periodically as part of their normal daily duties and with only 14 bunkers on the course we hope disruption will be minimal.

 

We also acknowledge the Government's latest announcement banning mass gatherings of 100 people or more. We don't envisage this being an issue for us with normal member play, but the Easter Mixed Shotgun on April 11th may breach this limit.

 

We will advise further on this in the coming days but it is likely April 11th will revert to normal member play.
