As you'll all be aware, NZ will transition to the Covid-19 Protection Framework (CPF) as of December 3rd, with Canterbury moving to the “Orange” setting. The board has been considering this change and how it could operate under this structure.
The situation is still a very fluid one with further advice from Government expected to filter down to Clubs via updated guidelines from Sport NZ and our own Golf NZ in the coming days.
The Board have been unable to meet to confirm our Vaccination Policy until tomorrow morning and as soon as a this is known we will communicate the policy to members.
The policy will take effect from Monday December 6th so existing bookings until then will be unaffected.
One positive change that will take effect from tomorrow is that the current Alert Level 2 rules relating to pin flags and putting green pins will be removed so these can be touched/removed if desired.
Member’s patience is very much appreciated as we work through the complex process and consequences of the CPF traffic light system.
